Fun, chubby, and irresistibly playful — the buzziest collaboration of the season brought together two Swedish icons: designer Gustaf Westman and lifestyle retailer IKEA. Launching across Southeast Asia, the collection was presented at the creative enclave New Bahru, transforming the event space into an interactive setup for the premiere.
Recognisable for its playfulness, brightly coloured, curvy decals wrapped the facade of the building, guiding guests into a dynamic exhibition design experience that celebrated creativity. Inside, custom elevations and fixtures were crafted to recreate the warmth of a modern living room, complete with a statement centrepiece Christmas tree assembled from the retailer’s iconic pine boxes.
