DinoQuest was an immersive interactive exhibition which brought visitors back to the Cretaceous period, where Australian polar dinosaurs once roamed on Earth. It is a 1,600 square metres, multi-sensory exhibition which consists of 7 Zones, each offering a unique thematic experience. With the message “Save the World”, it aimed to create an experience of the amazing discovery of dinosaurs in Australia.
This exhibition was presented using the latest interactive technology coupled with creative storytelling, offering visitors a new dimension of thematic experience. With a unique RFID i-DinoTag issued to each visitor, it gives a theatrical retelling of how Australia’s first dinosaur fossil was discovered. On the other hand, the immersive 4D theatre showcased a glimpse of what led to the dinosaur extinction. Eco-friendly materials were also used throughout the entire exhibition to further reinforce the theme of saving the world.
“It took us 3 years to complete this exhibition. A key challenge laid in illustrating a scientifically authentic portrayal of the ancient creatures.”
