Dialogue with Time Exhibition – Embrace Ageing

Housed within the Science Centre Singapore, Dialogue with Time is a permanent, interactive museum exhibition that invites visitors to explore the science, psychology, and lived experiences of ageing. Launched in 2017, the exhibition design has since been modernised to introduce new experiences curated to spark reflection, cultivate empathy, and encourage open conversations around ageing.

With a refreshed showcase and enhanced interactivity, the experiential exhibition presents a compelling blend of tactile, visual, and digital touchpoints. Throughout the exhibition, the space features a range of dynamic builds and educational displays enriched with vivid graphics, informative content, and interactive elements that encourage active exploration.

“From hands-on exhibits to immersive multimedia installations, each element was thoughtfully designed to engage audiences of all ages in an experiential journey through the many facets of ageing.”

A key highlight of the museum exhibition is Kopi Talk, a nostalgic reimagining of a traditional Kopitiam space which showcases how everyday environments can be thoughtfully adapted to become more inclusive and supportive for individuals living with dementia. This immersive space was designed and built to foster community awareness by demonstrating how simple yet impactful design modifications can create dementia-friendly spaces that promote empathy, accessibility, and social connection.
