An anchor event of Wellness Festival Singapore 2023, the Wellness Experience Space is a multi-sensory pop-up comprising six experiential zones, offering a series of engaging activities aimed at promoting holistic well-being through experiential design. Developed to be versatile and adaptable, the installations were built primarily with the use of modular and sustainable components, creating an open and inviting space that complemented the diverse range of wellness activities offered within the experience.
The centrepiece of the experience features a towering 5 metres tall WFS Landmark, fabricated with individual cylindrical poles meticulously arranged to form a striking grid pattern. Flexi neon light strips outlined the top perimeter of the quadrilateral structure, casting a soothing glow on the installation. To complete the look of the structure, the poles were fitted with horizontal light bars, die-cut icons, and banners in an array of vibrant colours, creating a visual spectacle that captivates during both day and night.
Layered mirrors in organic shapes, along with a self-standing mirror display were set amongst enchanting foliage plants, adding a sense of depth and dimension to the Mirror Scent Trail. The mirror display comprised a total of 35 circular mirrors in varying sizes, each individually angled and positioned to form the shape of an inverted triangle, creating a captivating interplay of light, reflection, and perspective.
To elevate the olfactory experience, scent canisters fabricated in the shape of a gable roof house were placed amidst the flora displays, releasing delicate fragrances that wafted through the space. Overhead, a canopy of warm fairy lights enveloped the installation in an enchanting ambience, casting an alluring glow over the structure.
“Held at the Marina Bay Sands Event Plaza, the Wellness Experience Space featured an array of multi-sensory installations, offering the public a line-up of mindfulness experiences and workshops.”
