Van Cleef & Arpels ‘Imaginary Gardens’ By Julie Joseph

The intricacy of the collections by Van Cleef & Arpels was translated into the fabrication of a set design for a high jewellery gala dinner and exhibition by the Maison. Housed within an exposition hall at Sands Expo & Convention Centre, the exhibition and dinner areas were constructed with a total of 500 square metres of event space.

Themed illustrations were translated into a physical experience, with event settings involving a variety of materials and installation techniques. The details of each composition piece required adherence to the colour guidelines and the intricacy of the assembly methods, allowing the guests to be fully immersed in the experience.

“The intricate thematic display of the event set a luxurious backdrop for a fashion runway, showcasing exquisite jewellery pieces from various collections by the Maison.”

The gala dinner area was housed in a circular hall, elegantly decorated to resemble the underwater world. Metal arches were adorned with seashell ornaments and complemented by thematic sea decor of corals and rocks. The focus was placed on the central zone of the experience, where multiple decorative elements were fixed together to form a focal showcase.
