Themed “Designed for Dreams”, the ceremony was held at JetQuay Terminal, where the new 787-10 Dreamliner received a water cannon salute, which is a tradition for significant aviation events. The opening graced prestigious guests like SIA CEO Mr Goh Choon Phong and Boeing Commercial Airplanes President and CEO Mr Kevin McAllister and many more.

Designed in SIA corporate colours and dark cornflower blue scheme, the ceremony marked a significant milestone for SIA being the first airline to take delivery of the 787-10 Dreamliner, Boeing’s newest aircraft variant. Lighted backdrops with outlines of the aircraft could be seen across various touchpoints of the event. Aircraft products were blown up larger than life, showcase areas featuring the suites sat on lighted platforms and media displays embedded into standees impressed attendees at every corner.
