This event was designed in conjunction with the Singapore Heritage Festival in an effort to bring back memories of our heritage and culture in contrast with our modernised generation now. Patrons walk down memory lane as The Living Room features Wee Li Lin’s nostalgic short film. To appeal to the younger audiences, kids are able to get hands-on at the interactive Shrinking Art Workshop and Badge Making Workshop to create their own acrylic keychains and badges as souvenirs to bring home.
Patrons were also able to don themselves up in funky 60s accessories and dive into a fun-filled photoshoot at the wall designed with disco theme. Line-up of music could be heard coming from a group of gentlemen who were in their 50s and 60s, providing an extra form of entertainment for all.
“The Buzz convenience pop-up store was set up to feature old school snacks and beverages and recreate nostalgia.”
“Retro arcade game consoles and old school games like table soccer and carom were built for patrons to enjoy.”
